Empowering Women in Cycling
Are you a female cyclist eager to connect with a supportive community? Or perhaps you’re a woman intrigued by cycling but unsure where to start? Look no further because Rossendale Bike Hub could just be the thing for you!
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to bring together women of all cycling levels and interests, fostering an environment where seasoned riders can share their expertise while supporting those new to the saddle.
Through our dedicated Facebook group, the Rossendale Bike Hub Ladies Group, we’ve created a space where female cyclists can engage with others, regardless of their experience levels. Whether you’re an expert rider or someone taking their first pedal strokes, our goal is to unite you and provide the comfort and support needed to hit the road confidently.
And we’re thrilled to announce our inaugural event, a social evening scheduled for January 12th, open to ladies of all abilities. This evening promises to touch on a variety of cycling topics, catering to different interests and expertise. While not every topic might resonate with everyone, we guarantee there will be something beneficial for everyone present. Hosted by Tracey Taylor and her daughter Kate, our evening will be brimming with invaluable insights. Tracey, a seasoned cyclist who’s overcome the hurdles of surgery, embodies the spirit of perseverance and joy in cycling. Meanwhile, Kate brings the vigour of youth and a passion for racing, offering a blend of experiences that cater to various cycling preferences.
This event will be an opportunity to enjoy a welcoming drink, gather essential cycling information, and, most importantly, have fun! To ensure an intimate setting conducive to sharing and learning, we’re limiting the event to 25 attendees, with an entry fee of £5, just confirm your place via the ladies’ group on Facebook.
Places for this exciting evening are filling up fast, so don’t miss your chance! Book your spot now and join us for an unforgettable night where you’ll meet fellow enthusiasts, gain valuable insights, and set off on your cycling journey with newfound support and knowledge.
